Mindi Boysen, TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Level III certified Golf Fitness Specialist and owner of “Fit For Golf! Fit For Life!”, is an internationally recognized golf fitness professional with 28 years of experience. She is also a nationally certified Lifestyle/Weight Management Consultant and personal trainer who specializes in functional, Pilates-based and sport specific training. She currently is endorsed by multiple private golf clubs in North Phoenix/Scottsdale and was the Official Fitness Partner of the Arizona Women’s Golf Association for 10 years.
In 2010, after she earned her Level III Junior Player Development certification through TPI, she was asked to assist a company in Barcelona, Spain in setting up a golf performance center. Utilizing her B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education, Mindi now helps junior golfers establish a fundamental base and athletic foundation to aid in their golfing years to come.
She is TPI Power II certified which allows her to aid golfers in maximizing their club head speed for distance potential….and her clients definitely see results!
Her professional experience includes six years on the faculty at Indiana/Purdue University as a Strength & Conditioning Instructor, where she received the IUPUI Teacher Excellence & Recognition Award in 2000. Mindi has taught Pilates and sports conditioning at several golf clubs, and now manages her own lifestyle coaching business helping clients build their bodies-strong and healthy-while preventing damage or injury to muscles.
From competitive players to recreational golfers, she teaches fitness techniques designed to improve both a player’s golf game and overall health. Her format includes strengthening of the specific muscle groups used in the golf swing, mobility exercises, and reinforcement of balance and stability movements.
Her series of three DVDs, Fit For Golf! Fit For Life!, have been in demand with golf enthusiasts around the world and are now popular and available on YouTube. The popularity of her first video triggered her decision to build on her philosophy: “A fit golfer is a better golfer.” Each workout takes beginners and skilled golfers alike to higher levels of golf fitness. Her careful choice of exercises helps to prevent back and other joint damage related to swinging a club. These videos contain effective pre-game workouts that require very little time or space and produce the best results with the least amount of effort.
Mindi won the 1998 Ms. Indy Lightweight Bodybuilding and Ms. Fitness Indiana State championships and went on to compete in 4 more national competitions. Mindi’s love of fitness, coupled with her love of golf, has been instrumental in the development of her business, DVD’s, Synergistic Golf Book and Mobile App.
